While walk-ins are always welcome, we suggest that you make an appointment at least one week in advance (2 weeks in advance for weekend appointments) to ensure the most convenient time for you. We require all of our clients to provide a credit card guarantee at the time of booking.
Booking by Phone
When booking by phone you will be asked to provide a valid credit card or gift certificate number to hold your reservation. Please note that 50% of the service price will be charged to your credit card. Upon completion of your appointment you will be able to pay for the balance of your services with your choice of Visa, MasterCard, Discover or cash. We do not accept American Express. If you do not have a credit card, you can pre-pay for your services in cash to hold your reservation. If paying with a gift certificate, you will be asked to provide the hard copy after your service as payment.
Group bookings are available for special event parties including bridal, birthday and corporate events. You may even reserve the entire spa for special occasions. We require a 50% deposit for all group bookings. An 18% gratuity for each therapist and esthetician will be added for all group bookings.
Our convenient online reservation system allows you to book appointments instantly, day or night. Please note that when you book online, 50% of all services booked will be charged on your credit card immediately. Currently, our reservation system does not allow for promotional gift certificates and coupons to be redeemed online. Please call us over the phone to redeem this, or make a note while reserving online in the notation section.
When booking online, if you wish to request a specific therapist or esthetician, please select that person IN THE FIRST SCREEN during the booking process. If you forget, then please make a note to us that you are requesting that person.
After you book an appointment online a receipt will be displayed giving you the option to print. We recommend printing a copy for your records. You also have the option to select that a receipt be emailed to you.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment so we may go over your specific needs and requests. While we do our best to accommodate late arrivals, the length of service may be adjusted so as to not inconvenience other guests. The full price of scheduled services will apply, so please arrive sufficiently early so you can relax in our peaceful facility.
We are sympathetic that sometimes being late is outside of your control. We promise to always do our very best to perform the most complete treatment possible in the time remaining. Each treatment will be finished on time to accommodate the next client. Arriving too late to perform the scheduled service will result in full charges (equivalent deductions from gift certificates) without the opportunity to reschedule. To ensure that our spa runs on time to accommodate all of our guests, we cannot make an exception to this policy. For this reason we recommend that you plan ahead for your relaxing visit to our spa.
To honor the time of our therapists and estheticians, please call us at (586) 222-8284 24 hours prior to your appointment time. Since we turn away other clients to hold your reservation, not showing up for your appointment will result in the full price of your service(s) charged on your credit card (or the equivalent deduction from gift certificates). Groups and parties require 48 hours cancellation notice.
You cannot cancel or reschedule your appointment for the next day by leaving an after-hours phone message, text or email the night before. We have reserved this time exclusively for your treatment, and need time to fill your spot with another appointment. If we do not have a 24 hour notice of cancellation prior to your visit then we will charge a 50% cancellation fee. If you call the day of your appointment and want to reschedule on the same day, we will only be able to reschedule if it is for the same day and ONLY if there is availability. If you are trying to reschedule for another day, it will be considered a late cancellation and the cancellation fee will be charged to your credit card.
To cancel or reschedule an online booking please call us at (586) 222-8284. Promotions booked online cannot be cancelled or refunded. We will be happy to reschedule and honor the promotion with 24 hour advance notice, as long as the expiration date permits.
Although our automatic reservation system does send out reminders via email and/or text message 48 hours in advance, email in general is not always reliable. Sometimes emails are late, go directly into your junk mail folder or do not show up at all. All these things are out of our control. We recommend that clients note the date and time of their services through other means. Ultimately each person is responsible for keeping their appointment and cancelling within 24 hours.
All no-shows will be charged at full value, as will those who refuse treatments they have scheduled, once at the spa, with no refund. No-show appointments will be charged 100% of the cost of services booked.
All spa reservation charges, retail sales and gift certificate sales are final, with no refunds. If appointments made to redeem coupon offers, Groupons or spa gift certificates are not cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance, then we will not be able to refund your certificate, or honor the coupon or discount for your next appointment.
Instant gift certificates are available for purchase on our website. You may also purchase gift cards at the spa. Gift cards make great gifts and are available in any denomination. Gift cards and certificates are non-refundable. Gift certificates are non-replaceable even if lost,
misplaced or stolen, UNLESS you can produce the receipt showing the gift card number. Gift Cards cannot be redeemed as cash, taxes or gratuities. Gift Certificates and Gift Cards are redeemable for services or retail items.
When redeeming a gift certificate to make a reservation by phone, the full gift certificate number is REQUIRED. If an appointment made to redeem your spa gift certificate is not cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance, you will forfeit your certificate. Should you not wish to redeem a gift certificate toward spa services, you can use the treatment value or stated dollar value as a spa credit towards retail items. Coupons, promotional and bonus certificates are not honored after expiration dates. Belle Santé Spa gift certificates and gift cards never expire.
Please leave all jewelry and valuable items at home or in a secure place. We are not responsible for lost, stolen or misplaced items.
Please let your therapist know of any concerns, special needs or questions prior to your treatment. Please comment on room temperature, massage pressure or anything else that would enhance your experience with us.
To respect fellow guests and the tranquility within our spa, we kindly ask that you turn off your cell phone upon arrival. Please inform your therapist should you need to make a phone call so that you may do so without disturbing other spa guests.
Gratuity is not always included in the price of service or spa packages, with the exception of group bookings. You may tip the therapist in the room or upon check-out at the front desk with a check or cash. Credit card tips are accepted with the purchase of a product or service. Gratuity is customary, and the usual amount is 15 to 20 percent of the cost of the service. Gratuities are seen as a sign of gratitude for our staff who hard work and strive to provide you with the best quality of care and concern during your visit at the spa.
